Xavier The Great!
Congratulations to Great Hollow sixth grade student, Xavier Zhao, on winning the Great Hollow Spelling Bee with the word "veterinarian."
He and Alex Randazzo (8th grade) went back and forth for eight rounds!
Other participants were Yumna Amjad (6th), Erin Larson (6th), James Lusk (7th), Caroline McCloskey (7th), and William Connick (8th). Each participant put forth his/ her best effort.
Special thanks to Ms. Wasnser, Ms. Hennes, Ms. Rosen, and Ms. Daly for putting together and judging our spelling.
