Music

Music
Music education provides students with the ability to develop the knowledge, skills, and understanding to actively engage in the arts throughout their lives. With that goal in mind, the Smithtown Central School District's music program provides students with a wide variety of opportunities and experiences throughout their K-12 education to foster their creative abilities and to develop an appreciation for the arts.
Smithtown Central School District has been Nationally recognized for Best Communities for Music Education!
