It is expected that the Board will move immediately into Executive Session at 7:00pm in accordance with Open Meetings Law 105(1).  The Regular Public Meeting will Reconvene at 8:00pm.

PURSUANT TO NEW YORK REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW §458-a (11)

Veterans with a Service-Connected Disability

SMITHTOWN CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to New York Real Property Tax Law (“RPTL”) § 458-a the Board of Education of the Smithtown Central School District will hold a public hearing at Smithtown Central School District, Joseph M. Barton Building, 26 New York Avenue, Smithtown, NY 11787 on September 29, 2026  at 8:00 P.M.  to hear all interested parties and citizens regarding discussion of the following:

A proposed resolution adopting the Veterans with a Service-Connected Disability Tax Exemption pursuant to RPTL § 458-a (11).
