West team places third in Physics Olympics

Kudos to High School East and West student for competing in this year’s Long Island Physics Olympics, held at Farmingdale State College.
The West team, comprised of students Aaron Matvenko, Julia Losito, Giuliana Panzini, Nick Cardi, Matthew Galletta and Landon Silva finished in 3rd place among 15 high schools in the challenging Physics Quiz Bowl.
Congratulations to the team and advisor, Tony Limoli.
The High School East team is comprised of students, Blake Frankenberger, Satyasri Konakanchi, Jia Muckadackal. Sara Hashmi and Charlene Cao. The team is led by advisor, Joe Rodichok.
