SCSD Strategic Plan Update 1

If you didn’t get a chance to see Dr. Secaur’s presentation on the Smithtown 2027 Strategic Plan, be sure to check back on our social media pages throughout the day for some highlights.  

In a survey that was returned by over 3,500 respondents; parents, students and staff were asked about their perception of the “Overall Quality of a Smithtown Education.” 87% of the 638 parents who responded to the survey feel that the overall quality of a Smithtown education is Excellent or Good. This is a very impressive rate that is comparable to last year’s responses.

96% of the 632 staff members feel the same, equal to last year’s results and 80% of the 2203 middle school or high school respondents feel that way as well, a 4% increase vs last year. We are very proud of these numbers!
