Congratulations to the Great Hollow Middle School tennis squad on being named the Smithtown Booster Club’s first quarter Scholar Athlete team.
The student athletes earned the award by having the highest GPA at the school with an amazing 4.0!
Coach Whalen says the students "work as hard in the classroom as they do on the courts" and would routinely have study sessions before their tennis matches.
Great Hollow Principal John Scomillio was on hand as well as Booster Club president Dave Miller and Smithtown Central School District Athletic Director Jason Lambert.
The Booster Club will next visit Accompsett Middle School on Friday.
