AEL students enter the "Star Lab"

Students at Accompsett Elementary School got an out of this world education Monday morning.

Students learned about the moon, the sun, the satellites and the stars while sitting in a "Star Lab."

The "Star Lab" is a portable planetarium, allowing teachers to introduce their students to the beauty and wonders of the night sky as well as important scientific and environmental concepts.

As our guest from Western Suffolk Boces said, "One pattern in life you can always rely on is that the sun will always rise in the East and set in the West."
