Smithtown Elementary School welcomed its newest members on Monday, May 19! With Pete the Cat in attendance, all incoming kindergarten students had a chance to visit their new school! When they entered the building with their parents, they were greeted by faculty and staff as well as current students from the SEL Pay It Forward Club.
Our youngsters participated in multiple Pete the Cat activities, toured the school, and even took a short bus ride around the block. We can’t wait to welcome our new students this fall!
