Welcome, Mrs. Lombardo

The Smithtown Central School District is proud to announce the appointment of Lisa Lombardo as the district’s new Assistant Administrator of Special Education.

Mrs. Lombardo brings extensive experience in special education administration, district-level leadership and a strong commitment to supporting students and their families.

“I look forward to building strong partnerships with families and staff and helping ensure that students experience a successful and supported transition into kindergarten and the Smithtown school community,” Lombardo said.

Most recently, Lombardo served as Assistant Director of Special Education in the Levittown School District, where she oversaw K–12 special education programs and staff, as well as the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) department.

Prior to serving as Assistant Director, Lombardo was a Special Education Chairperson, where she oversaw the CPSE transition process, helping support students and families as they moved from preschool services into kindergarten.
