Way to go, East DECA!
Smithtown High School East DECA was the only team in New York to receive the nationwide prestigious Advocacy Campaign recognition! During February, which is also CTE month, students were tasked with reaching out to their state and federal policy makers to advocate for the advancement of Career and Technical Education.
The DECA team’s hard work and dedication didn’t stop there. Students also earned well-deserved accolades in categories of: Membership, Innovation and Entrepeneurship, Community Service and Promotions.
This incredible accomplishment is a testament to the passion, leadership, and commitment of every member involved. They continue to set the standard for excellence and make our community proud!
