“We value the connection that our bus drivers make with each one of their students.”
Dogwood Elementary School Principal Renee Carpenter welcomed Dogwood’s school bus drivers this morning to Dogwood Elementary’s annual “Bus Driver Appreciation” breakfast.
“The bus drivers are often the first person that is there to greet children and they start their day with some positive energy and a smile before they come into the school.” said Principal Carpenter.
“They are the last person that ends the day with a smile.”
Kindergarten students from Mr. Weinstein and Mrs. Raineri’s classes sang “Wheels On The Bus” for our drivers while the fifth grade news broadcasting club presented a thank you video.
The Dogwood leadership club created snack gift bags for all the drivers to take with them as part of their community service project.
