Tackan 2nd graders show off state pride

Tackan Elementary’s second graders proudly presented their state research projects on Friday, welcoming families for a special showcase of their hard work. Each student explored a different state, diving into details like capitals, state birds, flowers, trees, and even gemstones, while also learning about the goods produced and unique facts that make each state special.

Their creativity and knowledge were on full display as they confidently shared their findings with guests. The event began on a high note, with students charming the audience by singing the classic “Fifty Nifty United States.”
