Students in Mr. Rosa, Mr. Hennings and Mr. Costello's College Sports Management programs from both High School East and West recently took part in an unbelievable "Subway Series Experience." The trip started in Flushing, Queens with an in depth and behind-the-scenes tour of Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets.

Students then hopped back on the bus to follow the path of the 7 & 4 subway lines, up to the Bronx where they had the opportunity to participate in a networking and Q&A session with top Yankees Executives in thy DigiCore Conference Center.

The executives representing the Yankees on the panel included:
Kevin Dart – Vice President, Ticket Sales, Service & Operations
Rose Barre – Executive Director, Ticket Sales, Service & CRM Business Strategies
Pete Britt – Executive Director, Strategy & Business Intelligence
Melanie Freiria – Associate Director, Premium Experiences & Ticket Services
Ryan Callahan – Director, Digital & Social Content
Mike Robbins – Director, Suites, Group Sales & Service
Stewart Azor – Manager, Inside Sales
Valarie Shields – Director, Strategic Business Ventures
TJ Barry – Director, Partnership Sales
Jess Gorman – Specialist, Premium Sales & Service
Connor Kalmus – Retention Sales Specialist, Season Ticket Retention

After the panel, students were treated to field level seats at that evening's game against the Texas Rangers (TEX 2 - NYY 5, Yanks Win!), concession vouchers, future NYY game ticket vouchers, and several of the students even found themselves up on the video scoreboard between innings!
This was an incredible and unforgettable experience offered to the students registered in the Smithtown School of Business College Sports Management courses, and hopefully will be referred to as the "First Annual."
