Spring Scholar Athletes at Great Hollow

Congratulations to the Great Hollow Middle School girls lacrosse team for earning the Smithtown Booster Club's Winter Scholar Athlete award! The team finished the season with a 9-1 record and a 3.88 GPA in the classroom.
Players were recognized Thursday morning at a ceremony attended by Smithtown Booster Club President Dave Miller, Great Hollow Middle School Principal, John Scomillio, SCSD Director of Athletics, Jason Lambert, as well as family members and coaches.
“It takes more than winning those games to be successful,” said head coach Denise Daly. “It takes putting your studies first and being successful in the classroom.”
