Sports Management classes hit the ballpark!
Mr. Costello, Mr. Hennings, and Mr. Rosa's College Sports Management classes in the School of Business CTE Department from both HSE & HSW recently took a behind-the-scenes tour of Citi Field, home of the New York Mets.
Students were guided through all five levels of the stadium, from the miles of underground tunnels, to the many ticketed club options, even from inside the Press Box and luxury suites, all the way down to stepping right on the field in front of the backstop!
Students were able to experience what it is like responding to hard-hitting questions in the post-game press conference room and learned what it takes to run a professional Major League Baseball stadium.
Mets employees spoke with the students about potential career opportunities that exist within the Mets organization and throughout Major League Baseball.
