Spirit of Triumph

Social Studies teachers Joe Toth and Jen Keller were awarded a Model Schools grant last year, which they used to bring the Spirit of Triumph organization to their students in a truly memorable way. Using virtual reality technology, students took an immersive tour of Auschwitz — experiencing the grounds of the historic site in a way that would otherwise be impossible. The powerful VR experience gave students a unique and deeply meaningful perspective on one of history's most significant and sobering places.
