Senior Spotlight: Heng Ye
This week's senior in the spotlight is High School West student, Heng Ye.
Heng is an avid student researcher, electronics enthusiast, software developer, and musician. He has presented at various conferences and science fairs, including the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair, New York State Science and Engineering Fair, Long Island Science Congress, and Regeneron Science Talent Search.
In addition, he has developed numerous electronic and software projects featured in media outlets such as Newsday as well as receiving the Congressional App Challenge award for New York's First District for his work at the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum. Heng is also a proficient musician playing the cello and will be attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this fall.
