SCSD's finest honored at SCOPE dinner

 Each year, the SCOPE Education Service Award dinner is held to honor recipients chosen based on exemplary records that shine brightly as educational excellence models. 

This year, Smithtown CSD honored Joe Ierano (Principal, Mt. Pleasant Elementary), Donna DeLuca (Library Media Specialist, AMS), and George Maier (High School East Chief Custodian.

The annual event was part of SCOPE’s celebration of serving children and their families and an opportunity to recognize 172 individuals for their extraordinary contributions and dedication during the 2024-2025 school year.
