The Smithtown Central School District's partnership with the Town of Smithtown was highlighted at Tuesday night's Board of Education meeting.
Town of Smithtown Public Information Officer Nicole Garguilo, a former student in the Smithtown Central School District, praised the relationship with the SCSD, specifically highlighting the STEM partnership.
Mrs. Garguilo discussed the tours and field trips our students take through the town, the water cycle presentations conducted at our schools by the Suffolk County Water Authority, summer programs, guest speakers, storm drain projects and volunteer work.
Mrs. Garguilo was presented a certificate thanking her for her work courtesy of Superintendent Dr. Mark Secaur and BOE President Matt Gribbin.
