Congratulations to all of the musicians at Accompsett Middle School who will be representing AMS at this year's SCMEA All-County Music Festivals!

Every year, students are selected to attend the festival, which occurs over the course of two weekends. It gives the students an opportunity to perform advanced repertoire with a guest conductor, performing alongside some of the best young musicians Suffolk County has to offer.

According to Shekinah Brosnan, 6-8 Chorus Teacher and Select Chorus Advisor, "It's definitely an honor to be chosen for these festivals. Many of the students participate in NYSSMA, perform in the numerous extracurricular music ensembles that AMS has to offer, and perform in the outside community- and ALL demonstrate excellent musicianship and leadership skills in their larger performing groups. We are incredibly proud of them, and we are glad that they have the opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful experience."
