Tackan Elementary students had an opportunity to learn about making fire prevention, emergency plans, and much more as the Nesconset Fire Department made a scheduled visit Monday morning.
Students learned about smoke detectors, the importance of meeting locations, the emergency medical services provided by the fire department and had a chance to try a fire hose and nozzle.
