R & R Solutions gets the call!
Congratulations to the firm, R&R Solutions, for reaching the 2024 National Business Plan Competition this April at the Javits Center in NYC!
Students from Mrs. Torlentino’s Virtual Enterprise class in the Business Department at High School West competed in the Long Island Business Plan Competition Championship Round on February 7th, where they virtually presented their firm's business plan to a panel of judges. The team placed in the top 10% by demonstrating creativity, strategic thinking, and a profound understanding of business principles.
Christine LoFrese, CTE Director, is very proud of the hard work and dedication the student’s put into their Business Plan. The Virtual Enterprise class provides the students with practical experience of operating a business from its inception.
Students will now prepare to compete in the National Business Plan Competition at the 2024 Virtual Enterprise Youth Business Summit, which brings together thousands of rising young professionals, budding entrepreneurs, educators, business leaders and industry professionals from around the world for a one-of-a-kind global convention.
