A thirty (30) day public comment period is open from May 14, 2025 through June 12, 2025 to review the proposed revised Code of Conduct. A copy of the proposed revised Code of Conduct can be found HERE. If you have any questions or feedback on the Code of Conduct,please submit them to codeofconductquestions@smithtown.k12.ny.us by June 12, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. In addition, the Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing at the Joseph M. Barton Building, 26 New York Avenue, Smithtown, New York on June 24, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. regarding the Code of Conduct. During the public hearing, school personnel, parents, students and any other interested parties will be given the opportunity to participate and be heard.
