Pretzels with the Principal!
What better way to get to know his new community then to share a pretzel with them? Smithtown Elementary School Interim Principal, George Gagliardi, held a “Pretzels with the Principal” get together on Wednesday morning.
“It’s a great chance to meet the kids and the families here so the first day of school isn’t as nerve-racking,” Gagliardi said.
Mr. Gagliardi brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student-centered leadership. He most recently served as principal of Bretton Woods Elementary School in the Hauppauge School District from 2012 to 2025.
