At this past Tuesday night's MTP PTA meeting, the Reflections Contest winners were honored. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life. Each year, hundreds of thousands of students in pre-K through grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-created theme.
This year, students George Mitchell (photography) and Lailana Pallotta (Visual Arts) were winners at the PTA Suffolk County level and have moved on to the PTA State level.
They both were selected as one of five recipients in the category to receive the 'Award of Merit' out of 545 participants statewide!
Congratulations to the following students!
