Officer Allison educates Accompsett Elementary students
Accompsett Elementary School students were given various educational presentations Tuesday by Officer Karl Allison from the Suffolk County Police Department Community Relations Bureau.
For K-2 students, Officer Allison discussed the many roles of a police officer. He talked about the dangers of bullying to third graders, internet safety for fourth grade students, and the hazards of vaping to fifth graders.
Tuesday's visit continues a close partnership between the Smithtown Central School District and the Suffolk County Police Department.
