Congratulations to Smithtown Central School District Technology Integration Specialist Tim Needles, who received the Tech & Learning Award for Innovative Technology Specialist at the Tech & Learning Summit at the Kennedy Space Center!
A NASA Solar System Ambassador with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Mr. Needles also presented at the summit about the Solar System Ambassadors program and shared ideas for infusing space learning and the excitement of space exploration into classroom teaching.
The SCSD is proud to see Mr. Needles' creativity, expertise and passion for technology and STEM education recognized on a national stage!
