Monster Detectives at Accompsett Elementary!
Third graders at Accompsett Elementary school became "Monster Detectives" for a day on Tuesday!
Through the Accompsett Elementary PTA Cultural Arts Program, students were given clues by head Monster Detective, Jason Edwards, as to where the library monster was hiding.
Students worked in teams and performed every task – including Reading Clues, Decoding Secret Messages, Searching the Catalog, and Locating Books on the shelves.
In the end, the teams were called together to share the information on their clues so that they could track down and capture the monster. They were later all sworn in as newly appointed deputy detectives and rewarded with their own Monster Detective badges!
