A select group of fourth and fifth graders participated yesterday in a virtual tournament across Suffolk County. Students competed in both an individual and a team competition.
Fourth graders from Smithtown Elementary piloted this program for the first time this year, and they earned fourth place in the team competition!
Lorenzo Clark from Mrs. Concagh's class at Dogwood finished 8th overall in the 5th grade individual division.
Mt. Pleasant took 3rd place in the tournament. Gregory, from the fifth grade at Mt. Pleasant came in 4th place out of 165 students in the individual component of the tournament.
