Can you build it… and make a profit?!
Students in Ms. Miller's AP Business with Personal Finance class at Smithtown High School East put their business skills to the test with the Marshmallow Tower Challenge! This is a new course being offered in our CTE School of Business.
Students worked in teams to design and build the tallest tower possible using just marshmallows and toothpicks—but there was a catch! They had to think like entrepreneurs and weigh the potential revenue against the costs of their materials.
