The Virtual Enterprise class at High School West recently received the honor of being ranked in the Top 40 for their Business Plan Presentation at the Long Island University Trade Show.
The firm, SAFE, was founded in October 2022 by the 25 students in Patrick Rosa's VE class and is a security company that focuses on protecting personal items and electronics with fingerprint locking technology. The class is led by senior CEO, Sydney Kondracki, and four other Chiefs who oversee five different departments including Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and Technology. The presenters of the business plan presentation include Cassie Avignone, Reese Jurman, Sydney Kondracki, Isabella Torres, and Leah Treglia.
SAFE also received a Silver Award for one of the Top Booths at the trade show.
The SAFE team will now move on to the second round, where they will present in February and compete against the other 39 Top Long Island firms with a chance to advance to the International Business Plan Competition.
