Making a name for herself
If you haven’t heard of Angelina Donnarumma, just give it a little more time.
The Smithtown High School West tenth grader is making a name for herself in the world of gymnastics, having just won the Junior E National title for her beam routine! Angelina competed against the best 56 gymnasts of 2025 in her age group to win the crown.
She is a level 10 gymnast at Apex Athletics in St. James. In the USA Regional competition, Angelina placed 2nd all around in her age group, Junior E, doing all four events. She scored higher than the required 35 and placed in the top-seven gymnasts to secure a spot at the Women’s Developmental Program National Championships.
Angelina’s goal as a gymnast is to become a D1 athlete in college and earn a full athletic scholarship.
