Little hands, big impact: Earth Day creations
Earth Day fun continued with Mills Pond Elementary first graders diving into a creative pebble art project—and this time, they had some amazing help from fourth grade volunteers!
Mills Pond Library Media Specialist Meghan Dyckova gathered a wonderful collection of Earth-friendly materials, including recycled cardboard, pebbles and old aquarium rocks, sticks from around the school and yard, leftover construction paper, popsicle sticks, and foam stickers. Students then used their imaginations to transform these everyday and reused items into unique works of art, all while learning the importance of being resourceful and caring for our planet.
Talk about Earth Day spirit!
