Literacy fair at Dogwood Elementary
Dogwood Elementary held it’s annual Literacy Fair this week. This exciting event is a testament to Dogwood's commitment to fostering a love for reading across all grades, in partnership with PARP. Approximately 100 enthusiastic students have volunteered, each selecting a book of their choice and crafting innovative projects spanning all genres.
These projects are proudly displayed in the school hallways for classes to visit and will also be shared virtually on our school website soon for parents to enjoy. Students have not only created these wonderful projects but have also presented insightful summary reports to their peers, showcasing their understanding and creativity.
"We are immensely proud of our students for their hard work and dedication," Principal Renee Carpenter said. "They have not only enjoyed reading these books themselves but by sharing their projects and insights, they have inspired their peers to explore a new book!"
