Hooked on teaching: MTP students become the teacher!

Students in Mt. Pleasant Elementary’s Crochet Soiree had the exciting opportunity to turn the tables during two special “Teach-a-Teacher” sessions. Club members stepped into the role of instructors, teaching faculty and staff the basics of crochet.

Paired with their enthusiastic and talented student “teachers,” staff members quickly learned new stitches and techniques and were crocheting in no time. The sessions highlighted the students’ creativity, leadership, and confidence while bringing the school community together in a fun and meaningful way.

The Crochet Soiree is advised by Ms. Erica Lutz, Library Media Specialist.
