High School students shine at LISC

High School East and West science research students recently showcased their hard work at the Long Island Science Congress (LISC), a prestigious science fair sponsored by Long Island educators through STANYS (Science Teachers Association of New York State).

Competing alongside more than 900 students from high schools across Nassau and Suffolk counties, Smithtown’s teams proudly presented their original research. With articulate explanations and professional-quality poster displays, our students truly represented the district with excellence.
