High School West business students turned into "High School Heroes" on Tuesday as they visited Mt. Pleasant Elementary teach students about jobs, taxes, and banking.

The endeavor is part of the Junior Achievement High School Heroes partnership, which provides leadership and development opportunities to high school business students who deliver programs in elementary schools.

The high school students had their younger friends take imaginary pizza orders, make "pizzas" to match the order numbers and figure out how much money they've collected.

At the end of the lesson, one of the high school students asked the question, "Why do people work?"

One student raised her hand and replied, "So they can be happy and they can get a house and they can go to the supermarket and get food."

Well done!
