Head back 5,000 years with Great Hollow MS students!

Great Hollow Middle School sixth grade students recently visited the Cold Spring Harbor DNA Learning Center to explore the fascinating world of the Neolithic Era — also known as the New Stone Age — through the incredible story of Ötzi the Iceman.

From examining what Ötzi’s body, clothing, and tools reveal about ancient life to participating in hands-on DNA extraction labs, students became real-life history detectives and scientists for the day!
