In conjunction with Police Appreciation Week, SCSD schools continue to pay homage to those who serve and protect.
At Great Hollow Middle School, students were visited on Wednesday by SCPD retired Detectives Janet Cassidy and Patricia Keller of the Hate Crimes Unit, NY State Trooper, Ryan Keller, and NYPD Officer, Samantha Kirrane.
Perhaps the most popular visitor was K9, Quinn! The officers visited with classes and spoke to students about life as an officer and detective.
They also visited Great Hollow's "Wall of Heroes" which featured pictures and a brief biography of officers and firefighters who are family members, friends and neighbors of our students!
