Great Hollow ELA students make their case!
Mrs. Piazza and Ms. Germano’s sixth grade ELA students recently stepped into the role of researchers and advocates as they presented their argumentative writing projects. Using the district’s research databases, students explored thought-provoking topics and backed their claims with strong, credible evidence.
Throughout the process, they evaluated multiple sources for reliability, crafted clear arguments, and supported their positions with well-reasoned evidence. Their presentations also incorporated engaging visuals and multimedia elements to enhance understanding and bring their ideas to life.
From research to presentation, these students proved they know how to make a claim—and defend it!
