Going Pink For Paige
October is Brain Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Awareness Month, and on Tuesday, Oct. 8th, SCSD students and staff are encouraged to go “Pink For Paige.”
This effort is in honor of Paige Elizabeth Keely, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 6 from an undiagnosed brain AVM. Paige was a first grader at St. James Elementary School.
Paige's mother, Gina Keely, has made it her mission to educate the public about brain AVMs. If you're interested in learning more about these efforts, please click HERE.
