Fueled for success!
High School East's FCCLA hosted their annual Fruits and Veggies Challenge with the East Side Elementary Schools. Each year, FCCLA members, along with their advisors Jaclyn Grebosz and Connie Smith, challenge the elementary students to eat more fruits and vegetables during the March National Nutrition Month. The students recorded the amounts they ate throughout the month and the FCCLA members calculated them each week. The students ate record breaking amounts this year!
The top classes in each school received a prize and the top overall class among all elementary schools received personalized draw string bags with some prizes inside.
This year's top classes were -
St. James elementary: Ms. Donnelly's Class
Dogwood Elementary: Ms. Paplin and Ms. Velez
Mills Pond Elementary: Ms. Ozol's Class
TOP OVERALL CLASS: Tackan Elementary Ms. Rodichok's Class
Top school overall was Dogwood Elementary
Congratulations to all on a job well done!
