Flying By Your Side

Accompsett Elementary fifth graders recently completed a two-month labor of love: a vibrant hallway mural titled “I’ll Always Fly By Your Side.”
Created through the school’s new Mural Makers Club, the interactive artwork was designed under the guidance of art teacher Mrs. Ress. Students dedicated countless hours to bringing the project to life.
“You can stand in front of it and spread your butterfly wings, and the premise is that students can watch themselves grow from kindergarten all the way through fifth grade,” said Ress.
