"Flash" and company visit St. James Elementary
Kindergartners at SJE received a special visit from the MTA Police Department on Tuesday.
Students learned about safety around trains and what to do in an emergency. In addition, the K9 Unit's 2-year old German Shepherd, Flash, stopped by! Flash is a bomb sniffing dog and PO Johnson's best friend.
Mrs. Biangazzo's class also had a visit from PO Ward today. He is a Nassau County Police Officer, father to our student, Max, and read a book to the class.
The students were so excited to meet all these officers and thanked them for protecting us and keeping us safe.
