Culinary creativity mixed with gratitude!
College Food Science students at both High School East and High School West put their culinary creativity—and their gratitude—on full display as they prepared a full Thanksgiving meal for teachers and staff.
The celebration was filled with warm conversation, laughter, and heartfelt appreciation. Faculty and staff were touched by the gesture, while students were excited for the opportunity to give back. The event highlighted not only the students’ impressive skills in the kitchen, but also the strong sense of community they continue to build.
The College Food Science course, offered through the CTE FCS Department, allows students to earn four college credits. The feast was organized by FCS teacher Jaclyn Grebosz in both buildings, with support from Christine LoFrese, CTE Director.
