Civic Leadership students visit Town Hall
On Friday, Dec 13th, students from Erica Geldmacher (HSW) and June Tener's (HSE) Advanced Participation in Government/Civic Leadership classes were able to get a first hand look at the workings of our Town Government. Students were able to meet with Smithtown Town Supervisor Edward Wehrheim. Various department heads took time to educate our students on all the different roles in the Town of Smithtown. From the Assessor's office to Animal Control, students truly learned how instrumental local government is.
