AP Students in Mr. Korn and Ms. Vollkommer's classes at High School East have been working hard model with chalk markers to identify structures and describe each of the pathways of the endomembrane system in a eukaryotic cell.
The endomembrane system is a network of membranes and organelles in eukaryotic cells that divides the cytoplasm into compartments called organelles. The endomembrane system is responsible for modifying, packaging, and transporting proteins and lipids.
