Bump, set, champs!
They did it! Congratulations to the High School East girls volleyball team on winning the Section XI AA County championship over Hauppauge!
The team, which starts three freshmen, won in straight sets and advanced to the LI Championship on November 14 at Hauppauge H.S.
"This is a dream come true for me being a senior," said Lily Sullivan. "I’m so proud of us. We worked really hard and this is the easy part when you put in the work.”
"We’ve been working so hard since the preseason in August, we’re such hard workers, everyone on the team," said Brianna Cerullo.
