Booster Club camps going strong!
The Smithtown Booster Club Summer Camp activities have kicked off, and the new generation of stars are getting some work in!
SCSD students grades 3-10 are participating all week in a lacrosse camp hosted by High School East and West varsity coaches, BrieClaire 'BC' Sheehy and Vincenza Patrone.
With both high school team reaching their respective county championship games, participation and enthusiasm was high as the students learned everything from the basics of lacrosse to high level play.
Former Smithtown High School students home from college pitched in as did volunteers from both High Schools.
Athletes are also hitting the recently renovated softball field at High School West. Students in grades 3-11 were able to learn the fundamentals of softball and hone their skills under HSW varsity coach, Mike Forman.
