The Smithtown Central School District Board of Education proudly recognized several championship teams at Tuesday night’s Board of Education meeting, celebrating an incredible season of dedication, perseverance, and athletic excellence.

SCSD Director of Athletics, Jason Lambert, introduced each of the following teams:

 Girls Swim Team

• Back-to-back State Champions

• 3rd State Title in 4 Years

• 5 Straight County Championships

 

Gymnastics Team

• Back-to-back County Champions

• 4 County Titles in the Last 5 Years

High School East Girls Volleyball

• Class AA County Champions

• League 3 Champions

High School West Football

• Big 4 League Champions

• Back-to-back Big 4 Titles (first in school history)

• First County Title Appearance Since 2001

Boys Cross Country

• League 1 Champions

• 2nd Place at the Divisional Championships

• In the midst of an incredible streak: 60 consecutive dual meet wins!
